Dysgraphia

Introduction

Dysgraphia is a difficulty in writing that the reproduction of alphabetic and numeric signs. The child with dysgraphia writes in a very irregular, his hand glides effortlessly over the writing and the grip of the pen is often incorrect.

The ability to use the available space is usually very small, and the child does not have adequate reference landmarks, does not comply with the edges of the sheet, leaving irregular spaces between the graphemes and between words, does not follow the line of writing and proceeds in “up” or “down” compared to the staff. Discussion

There are frequent reversals in direction of movement that are evident both in the performance of individual graphemes in writing that independent, that sometimes runs from right to left.

The child dysgraphic presents considerable difficulties in the copy and production independent of geometric figures (tends to “Round off” the corners and do not close the forms).
