This report covers an e-commerce business proposal for Kids Designed Craft Cards (KDCC) that has been selling quality handmade craft cards, specialised paper and other accessories for making gift cards for many years. The company has been performing quite well and thereby now wishes to tap into the overseas market by offering their customers the ability to purchase anywhere, anytime. So, in order to achieve this target, first the company needs to know about an effective e-commerce business plan that would lead to a feasible e-commerce business.

E-Commerce Business Model

As the company already exist in a traditional store form, the merchant e-business is developed for Kids Designed Craft Cards (KDCC). This e-commerce model is an online version of Kids Designed Craft Cards local store. An online store will be named same, since people (customers) already belong to this name, and the market knows about it. The business will offer quality handmade craft cards, specialised paper and other accessories for making gift cards through their online business. The online version of the business will also comprised of a wide selection of their products. KDCC now has more than 10,000 styles of cards available, therefore they will offer such as a wide variety of their handmade cards and gifts to a large number of customers.

The value proposition involved in this case is that the business will offer a wide range of handmade cards and gifts, as well as specialised paper and other accessories for making gifts through its online store, which will be more convenient for customers. It will offer them an opportunity to purchase an item or items from the online store of KDCC anytime, anywhere (Shelly & Campbell, 2011). Thus, the customer will get more value for their purchase, including feasibility, more operations (variety), less time consuming, convenience, large range of options to be searched easily, categories of products, and some others. Hence, this online version of KDCC is a value proposition for customers not only in Springmount, Victoria, but also in entire Australia.
