The early childhood is the most crucial stage of one's life span, as it has a significant affects on current and future life of a person. The non-homogenous nature of society that comprises dominant community together with several and growing minority groups) that give boost to the number of issues, either ethical or legal in relation to human difference, which have a significant on both children and their families in the early childhood setting. The equality conception between groups and individuals, takes in respect for individuality, esteem and identity, both cultural and personal identity. The non-homogenous society nature gives rise to many ethical issues in relating to socio-economic circumstances, religion, sexual orientation, family status, marital status, ability (disability), gender, language, nationality, color, race, ethnicity and culture. In early childhood, differentiation among children based on diversity has a vital affect on diverse children and families in early childhood setting.

Discussion

Children encompass exceptional ethical characteristics because they are the merely group of people who can be distinguished against legally. Being children they are perceived as incapable to carry out their own affairs and dependent on adults, normally guardian or parents. In the past, children have had no or less legal rights, with their guardians and parents having nearly infinite control over them. In addition, children also have in essence at risk and vulnerable to legal and ethical dilemmas as they are physically weal and small in comparison to adults, and can be without doubt forced into actions they might not desire to perform (Berzin, 2010).

In early childhood settings, family is an important and natural central point for curriculum. This is a crucial and starting part of child's life from where they appreciate and recognize differences and similarities. Many educators give rise to ethical dilemma when they start promoting anti-bias education in the classroom which affects well-being of children both psychological and physical development of a child, as well as have an adverse affect on diverse families. In these days, children discover daily how the work is being carried out in the world and who is validated, accepted and recognized and who is not. This will gave rise to ethical issues and ethical responsibility on educators to promote equality and support all children without any discrimination, as well as encourage them to have strong ties with their family values and culture to promote self-identity since early childhood. Moreover, this discrimination also boosts to ethical issues of low-esteem and oppressed personalities, if children encounter bias and favoritism in the early phase of life.
