It is commonly argued that most cost effective treatment is considered to be one of the two treatments that are fluconazole prophylaxis and micafungin prophylaxis. The relevance of the research is to determine the best and most cost effective way of the two.

A. There are five different tools used for assessing the impact of new and established health care technologies and interventions. Basically all the methods evaluate the costs, but different measures are taken to determine the relevant outcomes. The method of economic evaluation used is known as cost effectiveness analysis. The differences in costs are analyzed in a given period using a single unit. The method was well defined as it compared the average costs of the hospitals were taken in to account along with the patients receiving the empiric therapy. The patients who did not receive the empiric therapy were also considered in this method.
