Introduction of Discourse

Authentic learning is the learning about the real life events. In the authentic learning, all the important material is provided to the students in such a way that they can relate it with the real world examples. There will also be discourse analysis in the context of authenticity and education. In the discourse analysis, there will be analysis of various scholars and other literary persons on the topic of Authenticity and education. Similarly, all the activities that are performed in the process of authentic learning aim at connecting the things to the real world. Anything which does not entail such processes and methods which do not have meaning in the real life can be termed as the authentic learning. The nine elements include authentic context and activity, expert performances, multiple perspectives, collaboration, reflection, articulation, coaching and scaffolding and authentic assessment. We will now discuss each one of them in some detail.
