Introduction

In this paper 10 articles are accessed to assess the measures of PTSD and to treat it effectively. In the first article, the standardized trauma interview was acclimatized by the Dvorak treatment study.

In this 10 clinical scales are included that evaluates the chief domains of validity scales and posttraumatic symptomotology that evaluates styles of response. 4th article is about the CAPS which is a structured interview with established validity and reliability and is used to evaluate for the diagnosis of IPV-related PTSD.

5th article is about the result of a cognitive behavioral therapy trail i.e. post traumatic growth for the survivors of motor vehicle accident with PTSD. 6th article is about the execution of a treat and screen program for the posttraumatic stress disorder of child after a school suicide in a school setting (Charuvastra, et al. 2010). 7th article includes the basic emotion profiles in the chronic pain, healthy, PTSD and depressed individuals.

8th article is of psychometric properties of the schedule for adaptive and non adaptive personality in a sample of PTSD. 9th article is of discovering the effectiveness of a residential treatment program that integrates the cognitive processing therapy for the traumatic brain injury and PTSD veterans. The 10th article is about the multiple channel therapy for the comorbid panic attacks and PTSD women (Falsetti, et al. 2008).

Review

The 1st article is about the standardized trauma interview and studied the effects of depressive symptoms and CBT of PTSD on the peril of IPV victimization in the future. The 2nd article reviews the initial use of the VR based therapy for the treatment in a combat theater of the PTSD.
