Introduction

The management and control of health is based on the use, transmission and comparison of large amounts of data, information and heterogeneous knowledge. The need to exchange data has increased dramatically, both within a structure health and geographically distant. The spread of computers and computer networks seems to meet the growing need for storage, processing and transmission of clinical data in a more extensive computerization of the health system (Demiris, 2004). The rise in cost and complexity of the organization in fact, requires an adequate information system, which ensures efficiency, and the adequacy of performance made with respect to best practices. The medical record is the tool used for clinical data management of a client, data that are collected during meetings with health care, prevention or during episodes of illness.

EHRs have the support of a wide range of stakeholders. The federal and provincial governments are making significant financial investment in an EHR and provincial authorities, and local health go ahead with the implementation. A major reason prompting the establishment of EHRs is the potential for better clinical outcomes (e.g. improving patient safety, reduced waiting time, and management of chronic diseases). An objective of improving the sharing of patient information between physicians and other health professionals is to achieve better patient outcomes. Thus, the EHR could facilitate collaborative care (Spil, 2006). EHRs could also simplify the process by which patient's access to their own health information, enabling them to engage more easily in their own care.

EHR Adoption among Doctors and Clinics

The advancement of Information Technology and Communications (ICT) in all areas of society that facilitate and improve our existence has substantially modified the habits of conduct at the time to learn, work and even entertain. The developed hardware and software have provided an effective tool to solve many problems, including those inherent to the health sector. There is no dispute between the different levels when doctors agree on the need to replace the outdated and cumbersome paper by a system of communication and storage of information. EMR is an arrangement that includes the patient's claimed history, analysis results, dictation, and added medical and banking information (Richard, 2006). EMRSA advance bloom care, convalescent accommodating care, antitoxin bloom and abundance of the supplier and are an actual high-tech medical advance already.

EMR accomplishing problems of accessible action with the federal government is acceptable to absorb added than 20,000,000,000 dollars bang funds to balance providers for the accomplishing of EMR. Doctors now prefer to use the EHR for storing the data of their patients. The reason is that it is faster than the paper based data storage. Doctors in different clinics have adopted the EHR system for storing the data. It helps when the same patient visit the doctor again, just by entering the name will give his detailed history (Latifi, 2008). It makes the treatment easy.
