The research paper aims to throw a light on the federalist plan which was proposed by Alexander Hamilton being selected as treasury secretary by George Washington and it was upon his request that Hamilton was asked to direct the federal economic policy. Hamilton had even served Washington during the period of Revolutionary War. The research paper discusses as what was the Federalist plan for organizing the national government and its finances. Secondly, the paper articulates the reason for criticism from Jeffersonian Republicans' against the federalist plans.
