Ethical Analysis and Resolution

PART 1: DESCRIPTION

The study is related to the ethical issues in the organizations which create problems for the organization as the communication among the people get affected. In the case of

McDonalds, it has been found that there is discrimination with the employees. Ethics within the organization has been a subject of study for thousands of years, and brilliant scholars have spent their lives exploring it. Ethics is concerned with the philosophical reflections on morality. Ethics is concerned with two basic questions. One is concerned with prescribing the content of morality. The other is concerned with giving reasons for morality. Both ethics and morality are concerned with how we position ourselves in relation to others. Ethics is linked to sustainability through the concern for others and subsequent considerations about how to organize relationships with others. Sustainability is not the same as ethics and morality. Rather sustainability is a description of a particular ethical position amongst other positions, even if the position of sustainability is vaguely defined and disputed. This implies that organizations like McDonalds and professionals that claim to be ethical do not necessarily act in a sustainable way. Therefore, this paper discusses the ethics and ethical behavioral of an organization and it focuses on how the management of McDonalds could remove improve the organizational behavior and ethical issues.

Diversity is defined as the attitudes and perceptions of organizational members toward people from cultural groups other than their own. Many people when they hear the word diversity only think about race. My understanding of diversity within organizations is beyond race (Ferrell and Fraedrich, 2009). Diversity among organizations is an inclusion of different people ranging from sex, race, age, social economic status, learning styles, leadership styles, personalities, and more. It is the related aspects of our differences-personality, skill, experience, knowledge-which ...
