Abstract

The paper is divided into three parts that is Parts 1, 2 and three. In Part 1 the paper identified and described ethical issue. In Part 2, the paper plan to address, part 1 type of issue that is going forward for the company. In Part 3, it discuss the application of the code of ethics and the application of leadership principles to attempt to permanently resolve the issue that are identified through part 1. The last part of the paper that is Part 3 will be going to further distribute into two sub parts like, how the code of ethics that developed can be applied to deal with chosen ethical issue. Similarly it will also discussed how the character, values, and integrity of a leader can aid in making proposed code of ethics more than just another document that employees acknowledge when they are hired, but instead make it a valued part of their everyday work lives for fictional business.

Introduction

Ethics can be defined as rules of conduct recognized with respect to a specific class of human actions, culture and behaviors. Ethics is used to govern actions within an entity particularly, in businesses and it checks and monitors whether the people in the organization follow a certain pre-defined moral conduct. Ethics also govern the way businesses are carried out and their contributions towards society. Today, only those businesses survive that assume their ethical duties and fulfill those most prominently. An Ethical Policy details an organization's commitment to best practice and make ethical considerations a primary decision making factor in everything the organization does.

Background

Ethical organizations use values to guide all activities of the organization. Core values should promote a culture that promotes the open discussion of ethical dilemmas and the use of a fair process to resolving ethical conflicts. In this regard, organizations must prevent and address ethical mistakes in the same way that they are charged with preventing medical mistakes. Business ethics is an academic field that studies moral and immoral action not only of individuals in business organizations but also of organizations as such. Business ethics is also concerned with the moral nature of the economic system in which individuals and their organizations act and think.

Part 1

Your organization's reputation is based on the work you produce and the public face you present, in other words your credibility. Do not damage your company's image by practicing poor ethics!
