Introduction

There are many sub-cults of culture within a society. For example, our American society has many cults or cultures within. Like there is a male-oriented culture, gay cult or a straight cultural group. In a society, people live together for a common benefit. It does not refer that they are all same or that they have shared cultural values. However, socio-culture refers to a group of people who have common beliefs, practice same rituals, shared aims and attitudes. A group of non believers in a Christian nation may belong to a society, but they are not part of the Christianity. Society is more about how do all these people act together, whereas culture is more about what they believe and value most. Basic difference lies in the character of societal trends in opposition to cultural rituals. Societal dealings, communications, official procedures and suitable acts differ and swing far more often by description than cultural group. The same culture can be observed where diverse social groups subsist. It is a very prejudiced notion.

History

Our country in its most primitive historical account had a culture prejudiced greatly by its Northern European people, mainly from the Britain Islands, who formerly resided in the original British settlements. Whereas the aboriginal working class, acknowledged as Indians, was the leading inhabitants of North America, they were gradually alienated from the East Coastline into the inner area of Northern America in the 17th century, 18th century, and 19th century. In this era, inhabitants from the Britain Islands (England and Scotland mainly) carried the culture and creed of the Britain Islands with them to the USA and turned out to be the governing political and cultural group beside the East Coast of Northern America (Margalit, 2000).

Both deliberate migrations from other areas in addition to the outcomes of the Atlantic slave business carried a group of populace to the Americas, together with European groups, African groups, and, to a minor level till the 20th century, Asian groups. Hence, it was then started the process of expanding the residents of the West Hemisphere. Whilst the greater part of the U.S. populace were white migrants from north and west Europe and their heirs, they kept most of the authority, societal and financial system of the state.

In the United States framework, colonization from the year 1840 onward branched out the cultural composition of the country. In the 20th century, south and east European migrants and their heirs turned out to be a leading percentage of the populace, but as current migrants concerted in municipal areas were also underprivileged and do not have basic requirements of life. Heirs of African slaves and migrants experienced great challenges because of their skin color and favoritism imposed by legal schemes, for example the Jim Crow regulations in the United States. In 1960, African American groups and other marginal groupings for example Mexican American groups have attained societal and financial position and authority.
