Introduction

The first discovery of Christopher Columbus brought traditionally old people to the new world of Caribbean. Columbus was inspired by the charming beauty, delightful nature, and agricultural techniques of Taino. He often wrote about the productivity and richness of the land. Chieftains ruled the land and groups were related to each other with loose confederations. Modern scholars do not know about the exact population of Taino. Some people believed that the village contained 5000 people and after sometimes, population became to decline. Columbus is a villain not a hero as he brutally killed many Indians in search of wealth.
