Introduction

This essay is based on the claim that Identity is forged through the ongoing practices of daily life. I believe that this statement is true in various forms. Our personality, beliefs and norms are highly influenced by the peer pressures, societal norms, experiences and intimate relationships. Our identity gets forged when we encounter and consider external factors i.e. technological, social, legal, cultural and economical in daily life which ultimately affects our personality traits, norms, practices and thinking.

Cultural identity is the identification of the man with the symbolic cultural world in the process by which man creates the cultural world, it appropriates and internalizes. With these approaches, identity and culture recognize the close relationship between the terms embodied in everyday practices and especially in the development of cultural and linguistic patterns of the societies today. The occupation affects and influences the feelings such as feelings of autonomy, hope and dreams that allow us to realize the values and personal preferences through developing a sense of responsibility, while providing pleasure and satisfaction (Tesser, 2000).

The outward manifestation of personality related to the concept of gender role reflects the gender identity of oneself.
