Introduction

The Shining, the incredibly horror movie, as discussed, continued the actions from one location to another and united all sorts of sitcom-like situations. In one situation, Woody used a giant suit to escape from his enemies, and in the next situation, he and his partner Keaton disguised themselves into doctors and performed operations, however, they did not have any idea about the treatment. This movie has been shot with a creasy camera, which has to be handled with a human hand, and the longish sequences during the time of the night, in which the brightly lit decorations are illuminating the streets in the movie and is depicting the poverty of the street children. These scenes are describing the kind of life that these street children have to live in.

Discussion

The movie stars with the introduction of Monica, who is a thirteen year old girl, the movie starts with Monica showing her consensus to teach her friend Andrea, who is another eleven year old girl, on the art of selling roses to the people who have come to enjoy the night clubs in the city of Medellin. Like a number of other characters of the movie, both Monica and Andreas have run away from their local homes and have a spent a good time of their lives on the streets. These girls can be categorized as young girls in terms of their age, their hobbies, their interests, and their interactions in the social community. However, they have to take a number of responsibilities on themselves to earn a living and spend their lives, and make sure that they are safe while they are safe on the streets.

The conditions that have been shown in the movie could be declared as condemnable, however, there was a good reason behind this act of the Director Stanley Kubrick and he has allowed the cast of the movie and the events of the movie speak for themselves. Sound in film and television is one of the most essential measures for supporting the story of a plot, documentary, commercial film or television program. Sound effects can tell the story directly or they are used indirectly to develop the story effects of the film or television program. In reality there are separate perceptual mechanism for sound and picture, however, when they are incorporated together i.e. audience listening to the sound effects and watching picture, it makes a complete whole without any differentiation. Thus, when using together the picture as well as sound, they can make a greater sum than the parts can make otherwise. Therefore sound for the film or program incorporates many essentials with it and not to draw particular concentration to just itself. The roles associated with sound and picture, changes with regards to the storytelling.
