The years from 1900 to 1920 were the years in which two of the greatest presidents of the United States, Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt, revolutionized the office into the center of power ; whereby the United States Of America accessed the International platform and held up to its foremost international war ; whereby the government's significant position in the economic climate grew to be a public challenge ; and whereby reform regulations grew to be a paramount for revolutionary political figures , muckraking reporters, communal activists ,as well as journalists . Reaction to rapid technologies and improvements was seen to grow. People were accepting the technological advancements and nation continued to prosper (Cooper, 1990).

Even though industrial-capitalism had developed into a reigning-business practice during the Industrial Revolution, traditional mercantilist economics still existed in regards with state economics. Mercantilism is basically a concept according to which if someone wants to be wealthier in the world than they need to acquire the wealth of others. This idea together with industrial revolution triggered the conditions that lead to World War.

The Industrial Revolution developed revolutionary technology and enabled the use of enhanced weaponry.
