Introduction

Interpersonal communication occurs between two people who are physically close. Each person produces messages that are a response to messages that have been developed by the other or others involved in the conversation (Adler & Proctor, 2013). Humans are included in a world of communication, so that for a better study is divided into three: interpersonal communication that takes place between two people, group communication that takes place between three or more people and the media using technical elements and can reach millions of people (Mbanza, 2012).

Interpersonal Relationships

Although I have never been cheated on, or had major problems with trust, my ex best friend was extremely dominating. She had random mood swings at times, and because she had revolved her entire life around us simply, I would always be the scapegoat to every one of her problems. She loved to push my buttons when I would not respond or pay attention to her. I am in general a very happy-go-lucky type of individual so it takes a lot to get me to snap, but she knew the things to say that would ultimately get the reaction she wanted from me. Eventually I began to realize that I had lost my sense of individuality because she had entirely dominated my life (Mbanza, 2012). This was a strong indicator that I had to abandon the relationship; it simply was not healthy.

Courtship or Contact

The very first stage is the contact stage, which involves perceptual contact as well as interactional contact. As we used to share the same dormitory, we got used to living with each other and sharing everything.
