Introduction

Foreign policy not only goes about giving us a detailed understanding and comprehension of the changes and the challenges that are experienced on local, national and international platforms altogether, but also pertains to analyze and comprehend the changes and the challenges that have been intended altogether which not only make way for progress.

The many foreign policies observed by countries and organizations around the globe serve the purpose of safeguarding the interest of their own countries, but also aid the development and the establishment of the recurrent changes and the challenges that have been intended altogether.

For this paper, we shall be focusing, deliberating upon the influence of foreign policy in the country of Brazil and how the country continue to maintain its reputation altogether. Here, our focus would relate to Post Cold War era, during the year 1989 till the present that has been intended altogether.

What are the main ideas/principles guiding the foreign policy of this country?

The foreign policy, considering the Post-Cold War era, reflects multilateralism, peace, no intervention in the matters and affairs of other states and the resolution of conflict that exists as important constituents and postulates of the foreign policy employed in Brazil, but it narrates the kind of objectives and strategies that were adopted in previous times, in order to boost the economy of Brazil and also to further enhance its overall reputation by bonding its strategic goals and objectives and continue to open the gates to boom and prosperity for Brazil in the near future.

The main components that revolve around the motivations with which Brazil aspire to take the lead in its own paradigm. Brazil, as a country, establishes itself as the reputation of being both an economic leader and a political revolutionist. With such rich history and heritage associated with the state of Brazil, both the military regiments and the democratic governments contributed significantly towards the development of Brazil, making it a rather lucrative state, earning its reputation around the world.

In addition to this, another important highlight of Brazil's foreign policy revolves around transforming Brazil into an industry-based country that is dedicating its energies into industrial development, particularly focusing upon the manufacturing and production hubs that exist in the country. With this, not only would it bring about developed countries to invest into Brazil, but also contribute significantly around the changes and the challenges that have been intended altogether (Guerreiro-Junior, pp.1).

The foreign policy employed by Brazil also employs major objectives. Apart from becoming a regional power in Latin America, the country aspires to bring about reduced problems and resilience that currently exists among the countries of Latin America.
