Global Warming

Abstract

In this study we try to explore the concept of “global warming” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “global warming” and “the effects of global warming on the ecosystem”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “global warming” and argues about the energy producing alternatives: “soft-path energy development and hard-path energy development”. Finally the research describes “how heat is trapped in the world” and “what is causing it”.

Introduction

The purpose of this paper is to enlighten the factors that are responsible for global warming and its effects of the ecosystem. The objective of this paper is threefold. First task to be covered in this paper is to evaluate global warming and its impact on the ecosystem. Second the analysis of the two sources to produce energy; soft-path energy development and hard-path energy development. In addition, the analysis suggests which source should be preferred. Finally, the analysis explores how heat is trapped in the world and what is causing it. The significance of the greenhouse effect is the process by which the sun's infrared rays enter the atmosphere and are trapped by greenhouse gases (CARBON DIOXIDE, methane and nitrous oxide), resulting in global warming.

Global warming has become a medical problem. Examining the medical implications of climate change is an important new role for the community. Establishing global warming as a problem whose proposed solutions need to be taken seriously is a role for all scientists. In spite of the arguments for and against global warming being as strong as each other, it can be analyzed that global warming is clearly one of the most studied and argued scientific topics to date, with the future of the planet being at stake. The amount of research on the subject presents data that can continually prove that global warming does exist.

On the other hand the skeptics have also discovered evidence to prove otherwise. Is global warming real; the answer here lies in how much of the presented evidence is real or not. It can be concluded that global warming is coming, if it is not already here. It is very complex and involves many other issues such economic development. Unfortunately the current consequences cannot be ignored, as the world is definitely becoming a warmer place which will lead to several catastrophic consequences.

Effect of Global Warming on Ecosystem

Establishing global warming as a problem whose proposed solutions need to be taken seriously is a role for all scientists. Beginning with an examination of carbon dioxide, it is easy to follow the excess emission of this gas to its potential effect on warming the planet. Increased carbon dioxide in the environment may alter surface temperature from the greenhouse effect, which changes the ground terrain, such as loss of glaciers, but more importantly changes biota, e.g., expansion of tropics and savannahs toward higher latitudes (Belanger, Curry, Webster, ...
