Heart of Darkness

Introduction

“Heart of Darkness” was a novel written by Joseph Conrad. The novel has been positioned on the grounds of how Africans have experienced turmoil and tumours that have been experienced by these people and that have been going through. The protagonist has been shown becoming acquainted and witnessed within three broad situations and instances that have influenced the situations for Africans and the people at large.

Discussion and Analysis

People that the Lord has made have been good for over centuries, many people, places and even entire colonies have been dedicated for the purpose of serving the greater good. Unfortunately for the kind of circumstances and the situations that have been undertaken and experienced by human beings tends to change humans and their otherwise perception, only to become what it is like to be become a sinner or evil (Hayes, pp.97).

The story not only narrates the kind of challenges and the problems that have been experienced by the people in the country, but also triggers the intellect, the belief and the motives that a person develops regarding the kind of situations a person experiences and has when it comes to analyzing one's own actions and movements that one makes.

In addition to this, the book also narrates and suggests the duality of human nature; that how grey all elements and situations are around us. Exclusive of the realm of religion and all that is related to the Lord and His Teachings, everything is grey in the world that seizes to exist around us.
