Hepatitis is a disease in it inflammation of the liver happens. Liver is an essential organ that channels nutrients, cleans the blood, and fights and strife's infections. A high protein high calorie diet is suggested for hepatitis. Tests for diagnosis of hepatitis include a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to the abdomen, computed tomography (CT) scan, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), ultra sound of the abdomen, and a cholangiogram. A liver biopsy might also be done to establish the causative agent (Mushkat, 2010).
