High-intensity interval training vs. Cardio training
Introduction
Life is beautiful! Everyone in this world wants to live a happy and healthy life. There are certain crippling diseases that snatch all the liveliness and energy of life away. This in turn, restricts individuals to allow different pleasures of this life. Exercise can help control weight and reduce the level of blood sugar. It also reduces the risk of heart disease, a common condition in people with diabetes. Exercise can also help a person feel better about them and improve their overall health. Besides proper medication an individual who suffers from diabetes can take care with the help of exercises and various cardiovascular aerobics.
Theory and Practice of Training
The theory and practice of training has its own principles based on biological, psychological and educational. The guidelines and rules that systematically address the overall process of training are known as Principles of Training. These principles relate to each other and ensure the correct application of the entire training process. The principles of sports training are built on the foundations of general pedagogical principles that determine any process of teaching and learning. However, because the specifications of the physical exercises (considerable physical and psychological burdens, need to increase the functional capabilities of the athlete's body, etc.) Pedagogical principles in the field of Physical Education acquired a distinct content (Schlosberg, pp. 98). In addition, there are new principles that reflect the particularities of the process of physical education, including sports training. In theory and practice of athletic training has included the following principles:
Principle of active and conscious participation of the training.
Multilateral development principle.
The principle of specialization.
Principle of individuation.
The principle of variety.
The principle of modelling the training process.
Principle of progression.
Principle of heating and cool down.
Principle of reverse action.
Principle of specificity.
Principle of continuity.
Interval Training
No matter what a person call it — “cardio,” “cardiovascular,” “cardiorespiratory,” “aerobics,” or “endurance training” they are all the same. They all refer to the process of consuming and utilizing oxygen to sustain movement (NCPAD, pp. 48).. If someone has great endurance, then they have the ability to perform low to moderate intensity activities for a long duration or recover quickly after bouts of high-intensity activities (Schoenfeld, pp. 44-46).
Training Design
High intensity interval training is designed to help people spend as much fat as possible. This type of training will include a person to perform the various periods of high intensity exercise with low intensity workouts. A good example of this would be running, walking slowly, exercise bike, walking slowly, etc. This should continue for up to 60 minutes. The number of calories burned in a session, as it is less than a person burn in a steady state workout.
Although the hospital works better to burn more fat in one workout studies have shown that interval training works differently (Huffington, pp. 14). It actually works by increasing the metabolism. This means that although a person burn more calories at a constant speed workout session a person actually burn more in ...
