This paper is a comparative analysis of the evolution of criminal justice policy over the last 50 years for each of the three areas in criminal justice. In addition to this, the paper addresses the areas of policing, the courts, and identifies the diverse opportunities for cooperation amid elements of the criminal justice system within the criminal justice policy's implementation.

Discussion

Formerly the system of criminal justice had it easier, no doubt that the system was dealing with fights, murders, robberies, rapes and a number of different things that happen even today although on a much smaller scale. Long ago, the law enforcement agencies that were much engaged with the communities because the streets were patrolled by the officers on foot. The police officers interacted with the people in the community for knowing them. This resulted in the formation of different communities within which people did not had any kind of fear, felt safe and trusted the system of justice. In the past, there were no forensic departments and personnel for helping to solve a case, and simultaneously the technology that is present today was also not present. As far as the forensics is considered it was an obstacle due to the fact that deciding who was to be accused was quite difficult.
