The movie Troy; a classic tragedy as quoted my many is an epic film based on war and released in the 2004. Troy was directed by Wolfgang Peterson and written by David Benioff. According to many, the movie is broadly based on Iliad by Homer featuring well known stars such as Brad Pitt playing the role of Achilles, Orlando Bloom as Paris, Eric Bana as Hector, Diana Kruger as Helen, Peter o' Toole as Priam and Sean Bean as Odysseus.
