Human Resource Management

Introduction

The person for this analysis is Mr. David. He has been working with in the organization for about 10 years. He is my colleague and is working as a compliance officer. Mr. David is my junior as I am the vice president of my organization namely ABC corp. As a financial related corporation, the nature of our job is to maintain the relationship with our corporate clients so that the deposits can be brought in. Because of the nature of our job description, we have to deal with different corporate clients, some of them are very demanding and it is very difficult to deal with them (Allan, L. 2009). As Mr. David has been working for long, I am very much aware of his personality. My experience with Mr. David has made me come to some of the decisions. Mr. David still follows some old techniques for the working purpose. In order to deal with the corporate world, he must be aware of all the techniques and strategies that are necessary in today's world. In short, he must be open to adopt new techniques so that his performance can get improve.

As a senior executive, there are some important development and feedback analysis are required for the improvement of work. I have always supported the organizational change for the development, hence Mr. David will get follow through some of the change processes in order to maximize his efficiency and improve his skills.

The individual score is = 13

David gets the total score of 13 after the process. This score makes him an unaware employee. This result also shows that he has very little awareness of the areas that need to be changed. David results show that he has moderate desire to change. He can go for the changes if he becomes aware of the changes that are necessary for him to excel in his job. David does not know much about the steps that are necessary for the change. This means that proper training is required in the organization, not only for David but also for other employees. They might do not even realise the need for them in order to get changes in their work as well as personal. David shows moderate openness and emotional readiness for the feedback from others. He is not that much resistant of change, he basically is unaware that means if proper trainings could be provided to them that will definitely help him as well as other employees to adapt changes. The result shows that David is not that much motivated and hence does not seek for the changes. Motivational developments are required for him. Hence after looking at the results, I have decided that proper trainings and motivation strategies should be applied, but if David did not show any improvement or result then I might consider transferring him to some other department. The HR department should arrange all of ...
