Introduction

Human Resource is one of the most important aspects of any organization, which has a direct impact on the performance and productivity of the organization. In order to manage the human resources, organizations have human resource managers. The human resource management plays essential role in improving the productivity of the organization by managing its employees in several different ways. In order to maintain global competitiveness, the organization needs to deal with the constant changes in the environment, and take steps accordingly.

Managing, monitoring and regulating the people in the organization helps in analyzing the performance of the organization, and it also supports the Human Resource Management systems and processes. There are different processes in which the human resource management is involved, that includes recruitment, selection, retention, laying off, rewarding the employees, giving compensatory benefits and incentives, making policies and training the employees. The human resource management has a direct relation with the performance of the organization, and it is considered that it has a positive impact on the organization's performance (Mansfield, 1996, pp. 7-18).

The management of the people in any organization is considered to be an essential task, which helps in making possible changes in the organization and also results in improving the productivity and performance. Human resource can be considered as a core competency of the firm, which cannot be copied by its competitors. It is a challenge for the human resource management to deliver the organization with excellence ad should also be able to deal with the challenges of the environment and competitors.

The research paper is addressing the concept of “Employee Engagement and its Impact on Building Employer Brand as an Employer of Choice” (Option 2). Employee Engagement refers to the extent to which the employees of any organization belief and feel connected with the organization. It also shows the passion and commitment of the employees towards the organization and towards their job. There are two different factors which are related to the employee engagement, which includes the relationship with the organization and the relation with the managers (Becker, Huselid, Pickus and Spratt, 1997, pp. 39-47).

The employee engagement has an impact on the organization and its performance, as the more people are committed and passionate about their jobs, the better their performance would be. The engagement of the employees helps the human resource manager in selecting the Employer Brand. Employer branding is a strategy through which the managers select the best employees according to their performance and productivity and give them the title of Employer of choice. This strategy helps in appealing the current talent and also helps in attracting the future talent.
