Human Vs Machines

Explanatory Synthesis

The current age is greatly known as the age of machine. In modern era, machine has held a high priority and has occupied a key significant place in the man's life. In every moment of life, machine has become to the aid of man and helping in all spheres of life (Mitchell, 2009). From morning till night, man is occupied in many machinery activities like alarming of watch, boil water by boilers, travelling in mechanical motors and even talk through machine like cell phones, and computer calls. Even man use machinery for writing, such as type writer. In simple way, “machine has become as an indispensable instrument” of substantial assistance to man on every single step of life (Smith, 2002).

There are countless usages of machine that confers upon man. For instance, machine helps in making man more civilized and modern. The machinery products are certainly finer than those made by human hand force. Machine always brings accuracy and precision into making of thing (Chennells, n.d). Therefore, people like more machinery products than handmade because they are finer and finished, whether it is footwear, cloth for daily usage (McConnell, 1996). All these objects are demonstrated beautifully and fine that turned out people to buy them. From the above discussion, we have studied the importance of machinery in man's life and how it has facilitated human life and made it smoother.

Moreover, machine has decreased the hard work and sweat of the labor. In the earlier times, 'when machines were not there; human beings had to work hard for producing newspaper through plates for continuously copying the writing format' (Frey, 2013). At contrast, “modern era simply eases this production phase” and now millions of newspaper can be printed by a single click (Jordan & Nehemiah, 1961). Machinery can produce many things while human without the help of machine can produce in very low quantity (Castells, 2000). However, a machine attended by a man can produce bulk without such hassle. It is very obvious that man power requires for even operating the machine and attendant is always there for regulating and watching the “functioning of machine” (Jordan & Nehemiah, 1961). This job description is far better than the hard work that people used to do in earlier times. However, man is greatly benefitted from this technical induction (Barabasi, 2000).

Machine greatly helped in growing goodwill and international friendship. These friendly relations are developed between states that import and export machines. Machinery has greatly improved job quality and ratio as well. Even in the foreign relationships, “machinery has become an inevitable for transactions” (Mowshowitz, 1981). Growing in the population requires more production on swift basis, and man power will take time to produce such things in a little pace of time. Moreover, machine experts are highly demanded throughout the world (Kling, 1996). 'Technical and engineering students are normally sent to various countries for having mechanical training in the developed countries' (Chen & Hernon, 1982). Moreover, developed countries send their experts to ...
