Introduction

Interior design is actually comprised of the skills of creativity. It can only be done by a creative minded person who possesses the ability of portraying his imagination and thoughts in his practices. Interior design is based on the seven basic elements that are combined to portray a beautiful image of the designing. For this research we have considered the the Italian architect and designer Claudio Silvestrin and we are going to analyse the seven elements of interior design in his work of Kayne West's apartement.

Methodology

The research reviewed a decent amount of literature to build the foundation for the research topic. More specific information was elicited by the researcher by conducting a phenomenal research in which the museum and gallery designed by Wilson Kelsey were visited and interior decoration was observed by the researcher. The research relied on a mixed type of methodology relying on both primary and secondary research.

Primary: The research focus on eliciting customised information by visiting and studying the interior designs of museums and galleries through observation. For the primary research the researcher has visited some of the galleries as well as various interior designers have been interviewed.

Secondary: Additional information was elicited by the researcher by reviewing a decent amount of literature and designing catalogs available on the internet. This information was important to build the essential foundation of knowledge for the research at hand.

Significance of the Research

The research will show that the succession of interior designer depends of the level of satisfaction they provide to their clients with their innovative work practices and its effective outcomes. It is important for interior designers to understand both the technical and the artistic requirement of their profession combined with management strategies and interpersonal communication activities.

Claudio Silvestrin

The playful energy and demur is present in the work of Claudio Silvestrin that he has showed in the designing of the Kayne West Apartment. By analyzing the particular image for the Kayne West apartment, one can say that Claudio Silvestrin's work is always rich in the context. This is evident from this research finding that for the design of this apartment, Claudio Silvestrin as placed an important focus on the process of designing (Kilmer, 2012, p. 34). The research findings indicate that he most simple and easy component to understand is the space is a simple element to understand. It refers to the walls and the area of the room. The Claudio Silvestrin in this design has found an effective way of using the space that has helped him the design implementation. The presented piece of work by Claudio Silvestrin shows that the available space in the room has helped the Claudio Silvestrin in identifying the limits for occupying the room.
