Introduction

In the present era, the threat of terrorism has increased to great extent which has created insecurities for most of the countries all around the world. The terrorism has imposed many challenges and threats to the countries all around the world. The wars are being fought for eliminating the terrorism from is roots but still it is a major issue. The groups that are involved in the terrorist activities have many aims and objectives and in order to fulfil those objectives, such group impose threats of terrorism upon the countries or upon the related institutions. Terrorism is basically a belief that is practiced by terrorist groups so as to attain their political aims.

At present many countries are facing the terrorism threats and risks. The most common countries include USA, UK, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine, Somalia, India, and other countries in different parts of African regions. The incident of 9/11in the New York, United States is the clear picture of the terrorism that was carried out by the one of the largest Muslim terrorist group. The terrorism activities are carried out by the anti social agencies who want to destroy the peace and prosperity within the country and they want to direct the people according to their rules and principle which are not based upon ethical factors and also they are not accepted not by the societies. The violence is the most important aspect of the terrorists groups and agencies. They create violence in the societies and do terrorist attacks by the use of bombs, kidnappings, murders and by any other means. The terrorism has become a major and dangerous issue to the human rights. The terrorism has already made great loss of human lives and the destruction of wealth and properties of the people.

The terrorism has not only created bad impact upon the societies, however, it has also created bad impact upon the political powers of the countries (Gunaratna, R., 2004, pp. 54). Now a day, with the increase in terrorist parties and with the increase in their terrorists attacks, most of the countries are busy in making strategic political plans against the terrorism. The risks and threats of terrorism provide challenges to the characteristics of democracy within the societies as well as within the political activities of the country. It significantly and negatively attacks the freedom, equality and fraternity in the country. The terrorism has also greatly challenged the performing role of the government by creating and imposing the terrorism threat to the sovereignty of a state (Crenshaw, M., 2003, pp. 49).

Discussion

The roots of terrorism has increased to great extent that they are not only causing the human loses and the casualties but also the terrorism agencies are trying to take over the governmental positions and to deprive the people from their basic rights.
