Introduction

Internet is the most useful advancement of computer science and by means of internet communication among the international countries becomes possible. In china most of the people use internet for the sake of work or communication from the international world, study, social networking etc. Nowadays it becomes a necessity for our everyday life. Internet also provides extensive information about any topic, religion, country etc. The article censorship in china gives a brief review about the censorship policy, implementation in china on the internet security. A national correspondent James Fallows from Atlantic magazine, according to him the security level of Great Firewall (internet censorship system used in china) is not enough for the people of china. The Great Fire wall of china is the censoring software use to censor unrealistic, threatening, abuse material in china. Chinese government wants to provide clear and actual data to the internet user. It is the approach of the Chinese government to protect Chinese internet users from hackers and other rogue (hatred) elements. The approach of this internet censorship is called “Golden Shield Project” (Fallows, J. 2010).

The author's in this article wants to give a brief review about the censorship policies, their criteria of implementation of policies. The idea is that the policies are not so effective. User may use proxies and other methods to get access. Great Firewall of China is providing enough censorship. The government officials for censorship implementations spend a lot of money for removing unwanted material from the websites. They place checker and mirrors (a term use for data duplicating) on the checkpoints for data monitoring purpose. The mirror copies the data on the censorships server for evaluation. There is also another perspective of the article is that the Chinese government doesn't want anything to be on the internet against them (Fallows, J. 2010).
