CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

Background of the study

The research study will be based on the issues of Islamic banking and financial system. In today's world, the researchers and scholars are taking great interest in the Islamic banking because there is huge difference between the Islamic and Conventional banking systems. The Islamic banking system is based on the Islamic economics according to which state has an enormous role in taxation, managing public assets, policing and ensuring the circulation of wealth. Moreover, in the Islamic economics, there is a redistribution of resources so that the essential requirements of the people can be fulfilled efficiently. However, to apply such system is not an easy task for any government authority. The main difference that remains between the Islamic and Conventional banking is the interest-based system (Boualem, 2003, 143).

Aims of the Research Study

The central aim of the research study is to analyze special issues on the Islamic banking and banking. The research study will be conducted in order to highlight the issues that the Islamic banking and finance is facing in the present world. The aims of the research study also includes the analysis of different factors that affect the method of financing in the Islamic banks in the number of different ways.

Outline of the Research Study

The research study will be performed to analyze the issues of the financial system that is adopted by the Islamic banks. Different factors and issues will be discussed that are related to the financial system of the Islamic banks. The study will explain the concept of the Islamic banking thoroughly and conclude the findings of the study based on these concepts. The study will adopt the secondary as well as the primary methodology. The data for the research study will be collected through the number of online resources and the interviews. However, the research study will include the data for year 2000 onwards and would not include the data before it.

Objectives of the Research Study

The objectives that will be attained and discussed in the research study are:
