Shariah - The Islamic Law

Shariah is the complete code of life. It is also known as the Islamic code of law. Based completely on Islam, Shariah provides guidance through the teachings of Holy Quran and from the practices of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). It is a complete code of life, with solutions and laws for each and every thing related to one's life, from birth till death. Shariah is one of the four basic pillars of Islam and all the decisions made by the courts following the Islamic code of law are governed by the teachings of Islam, which in itself has been derived from Holy Quran and Sunnah, that is the word used to describe the teachings of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H).Shariah is based on the Islamic principles and guidelines, which in itself is a religion that is based on complete set of rules and laws.

The chosen topic for the purpose of discussion is the procedural implication of Islamic Law, also known to many as Shariah. From all the other substantive or procedural legal principles of the laws that we have read about previously, Islamic legal traditions are comparatively different as of their very different basis, which can be clearly seen through analyzing the basis of the law, which is based upon the sole teachings of a religion which keeps it different from the other legal traditions, which are not based entirely on any religion (Horowitz, 1994, pp. 253-269).

There have been potential and legitimate methods for each and every issue present in the Islamic code of law.
