Job requirements moderate the relationship between the possession of a personality characteristic and job performance. Concern about job requirements to match the personality characteristics best expressed in the personality-job fit theory of John Holland. Everyone has special skills and attitudes unique to the workplace. These features may vary according thoughts or perceptions, psychological, physical or even mental, making each type of worker positive and negative for certain work. Six personality types as defined by Holland are:
