Whenever someone commits a criminal offense, many elements are taken into consideration when trying to choose what actions should be taken against that individual. The individual's purposes, and motives, are analyzed as why they committed the crime, their perspective during the criminal offense, their record, and any other different conditions. The jury or court takes into consideration the offender's age as one of the main concerns in how to proceed with the trial.

If, someone is considered a “minor” than they are sent to a much different form of offender ability for a much reduced time frame. If; instead, they are considered to be a grownup they are then forwarded to actual prisons. These kinds of choices are always challenging, but when handling with chaotic offenses carried out by kids the case is always a sensitive and serious one. Some individuals believe the mother and father should be the ones penalized for the actions of the young ones, while others believe that if one is able of pull of such heinous offenses than they should go to behind the bars regardless their age. Some individuals think the community is the reason for most every criminal offense carried out, and no one should be held responsible for their acts.
