Kingdom of Heaven

Introduction

Kingdom of heaven is a movie of middle ages showing the view of crusades of 12th century. The whole story was about a French blacksmith known as Balian, who lost his child, and then his wife. The story tells us about a young & energetic guy, who started the struggle against the enemy to defend his homeland, Jerusalem. Balian was compelled to become a part of crusade by his father, Godfrey of Ibelin. Godfrey of Ibelin, a crusader fighting in the East came to France and motivates Balian to join the crusaders for the sake of destiny. Balian took the step and went there and uses all his skills against the leadership of Muslims, Saladin. Saladin wants to occupy the city from the Christians as it leads towards the Battle of Hattin. Godfrey gives his sword to his son and Balian stood against them, and stepped into the history. The Christian King Baldwin has a vision of Peace & they call it “Kingdom of Heaven”. Many crusaders do not follow this vision, but Godfrey loves this vision & thought the same lesson to his son, Balian. Balian learnt the lesson, and work for the flourished life of the helpless people and he worked for peace between different cultures & religions. He wants to make a Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Kingdom of Heaven is an epic movie produced & directed by a well known director, Ridley Scott. The movie is about the crusade wars between the Christians & Muslims. In 1184, there was village blacksmith who lost his wife after a suicide. The crusader Godfrey approaches Balian and told him the relation they have, he is the father of young Balian. Lord Godfrey convinced him to lead a crusaders life. Balian refused to join crusaders but afterwards he accepted the offer. On the way towards success, Balian learned the skills and techniques of war and he got the title of Knight from his father, who got injured in the fight against bishop's men. The ship wrecked on the coast of Levantine, leaving behind a superior knight in the loyal service of King Balwadin.
