Introduction

The case is referred to the contract law. Plaintiff argued that after the death of her husband, her brother-in-law asked her to come and live in his farm some 60 miles away where she was previously living, till she get her own property land right, as he promise to give her comfort living and for her children. She accepted the advice of defendant and moved with her children and households to her brother in law (defendant) home. Defendant kept his promise and provides good living where she was able to bring her kids up. After two years defendant ask her sister in law to move from his place and live far distance in wood where she will not be comfortable, as she now wants to live in that place because she has spent money to shift so far. Plaintiff sued the defendant on the basis of breach of contract and promise. She said that her brother in law has broken the promise.
