Knowledge or Belief

Introduction

Love has always mystified human beings. Much like other feelings, no evidence exists to back it up. We still use it to describe our admiration for people and objects. By definition, knowledge is assumed to be true because of the evidence that exists in its favor. A belief is something that assumed true without any evidence (Lakoff & Johnson, 1999). The purpose of this study is to distinguish whether I “know” or I “believe” that my mother loves me.

Hypothesis

H1: I “believe” my mother loves me.

H2: I “know” my mother loves me.
