Introduction

Baby P. whose name is Peter Connelly who died when he was only seventeen months old in London while suffering from more than fifty injuries during eight month period. During this period Peter was frequently observed by the professionals of NHS and Haringey Children's services. Boyfriend of Peter's mother was charged for abusing Baby P.

The incident of Baby P. and case shocked and distressed the public and parliament due the intensities of injuries of Baby P while living in London Borough of Haringey. The death of Baby P was under the same child care authorities which failed ten year before in the case of Victoria Climbie. For this child protection services and agencies of Haringey was widely criticized. In addition to this incident, three inquiries and review of care regarding social service were launched nationwide. The position of head of Children's Services was also removed on discretion of Government minister. Circumstance of Baby P's death

On 3rd August 2007, Ms A (Mother of Baby P) approximately at 11:30 AM called the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at her home. More likely lifeless body of child which was 17 months old was taken by the paramedics of North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH). Ms A and Baby P (Peter) were explained as from Scottish/Irish origin in various meetings.
