The Lincoln electric was created in the year 1895 by John C. Lincoln. He was a man with 29 years of age and two kids and wife. He lost his job of building of electric motors in Ohio because of a financial recession that occurred in the year 1893 and many Americans became jobless in that. Lincoln took the risk and started the Lincoln electric company. The company started to work steadily with hard work, determination and innovation. Lincoln became sure of his technology when the idea of gasoline engine beat the electric engine in the year 1900. The company works on loyalty, trust and flexibility.

The company consists of 3000 employees and they can easily communicate with their CEO for the ideas and suggestion. Lincoln progressed with the modest beginnings and he formed himself by depression and the hardly growth of the first 25 years the company. The Lincoln Electric became regular in the Forbes magazine and it was included in the list of 400 best and biggest companies of America and was included in the list of fortune 1000 (Koller et al. 2010). The Lincoln electric has given an example for other countries which are motivated for the high performance in their organization (Koller et al. 2010). The corporate culture, vision and leadership of the company have led to its success. The company has also developed a special system of incentives so that the employees can be motivated.
