Introduction

In The Lake Of The Woods is a story about obsessive love, paranoia, infidelity and insecurity. The story is about a man named John Wade who suffers from multiple personality problems. John's problems seem to worsen after he unwillingly participates in the Vietnam War and volunteers as a conscript of havoc that slaughters humans in the name of his country. The novel deals with the harsh realities that the participants of the Vietnam War were forced to face in a war that left them tarnished both emotionally and psychologically.
