Introduction
Today the term personal and professional skills have taken widely in organizations and educational institutions to develop in the person observable behaviors that indicate their development in a particular area of your life where it operates (Arulampalam, 2007,, 119).
Since the fifteenth century the word "compete" meant "fight", generating substantive and competition, competitor, and the word competitive. In the present context, skills are "behaviors that dominate some people better than others, and that makes them more effective in a given situation".
We also designate by the acronym SKAI (skills, knowledge, attitudes and interests) that put into action, differentiate people from each other. A person has a high skills profile when shown the qualities required to perform certain missions or tasks (Blundell, 2009,, 1).
It is proved that human beings have the capacity to acquire new skills throughout their lives, provided they meet appropriate incentives and there is access to resources. We can say that the personal or professional competences are the sum of knowledge, attitudes, values ??and skills to develop their activities (Blundell, 2009,, 1).
Are the summation of the human being to live your life, are the tools that enable you to achieve your goals and dreams. Many times we worry about acquiring skills to do better in our school or work and are likely to develop expertise in a particular area, however we leave aside the personal skills that can inform our evolution as human beings in the following areas: with yourself, with your partner, your family, your occupation (can be school or work, or both), society, nature and God, the cosmos, the universe etc., and you want to call according to your belief.
What have you done to develop skills in each of these areas? Where do you consider yourself more competitive? What you have neglected area?
