Introduction

The main priority of an artist is to mesmerize the audience, and effectively diminish the distinction between the art and reality. An artist's job is to present an alternate reality to the audience, so that they can view the world in a completely different perspective. The authors are type of artist who uses his imagination and the power of the written word to take the readers on a vivid and imaginative journey. The authors are not bound by the limits of the reality and the practical thinking, the only thing that they are concerned about is mapping out their creative perspective of the world for the readers (Friedl, pp. 265). The fictional and imaginative literary works can use innovative styles to present actual problems to the world. The authors take the advantage of their creative powers to present the real issues on the human world, in fiction based stores. It is due to these reasons that I have chosen three very distinct and unique Asian stories which have been adequately translated. These stories highlight the anti hero aspect, and present a fictional story to discuss certain human events. The authors in three stories have discussed various real world dilemmas using their imaginative and creative abilities, and the reader manages to experience an exciting experience. The three stories are Can Xue - The Summons, Mo Yan - The Cure and Footsteps on the roof. All of these stories present a unique perspective of the human world, and they use creative settings to discuss various issues. The protagonists in these stories do not resemble the traditional heroes, as they are ...
