They are normally linked with the risk factors, including low birth weight, prolonged catheter placement. There are some strategies used in Intensive care unit for decreasing the CRBSI's diseases. PICC's takes place in very infants whose weight is low. When results are bigotry for limited feeding more than 7 days of life is likely to take place. (Menon G. 2003) The marginal vein uses for feeding patient include the smaller or larger veins preferred over other sites. The most suitable location for the PICS is the Lower side of vena cava Mostly CVC is needed for at least 6 weeks. (Hsu JF 2010) VLBW infants is one of the dreadful infection as they can affect the immune system of immature child, in this case immediately hospital should be contacted and with proper procedure patient should be taken in to the caring unit. The Rate of CRBSI diseases vary from the scale of 4.6 to 8.3 incidents per 1000 patients. Most of them are the infants' patients affected by this disease. (Paulson PR, 2008) In this case after the hospitalization patient needs the some extra therapies which can help the patient to overcome this disease. NICU members and staff have used some different strategies to lower the infection rates with the help of using the different maintenance and methods for insertion to overcome the CRBSI disease.
