Description of Search Method

The Databases used were within the Grand Canyon Library like CINAHL and Cochrane Databases. Moreover, I also used MEDLINE through PubMed. The keywords I utilized for the purpose of searching relevant data includes MRSA, contact isolation, nursing compliance with isolation procedures, isolation procedures on the hospital unit, infection control on the hospital unit, Isolation of Paitients, spread of MRSA in the hospital, preventing the spread of MRSA in the hospital and nurse-patient ratios. After searching various libraries for the relevant data, I selected articles which were explicitly related to my topic of research.

Various studies were fitting the criteria of my research. I adopted the method for inclusion which relates to being most current and recent literature. I believe there is no point of using outdated data for the purpose of significant researches. Moreover, the researches were excluded on the basis of their non reliable sources and irrelevant material.
