Introduction

Meat consumption might be necessary for the human survival, however, the food demand increases as the population grow and thus the meat-eating population also increased at a faster rate considering it as a moral matter. Therefore, in this paper, the author actually covered the three different articles which were written on the meat consumption as compared to vegetables. The author tried to present a neutral view point and did not want to present such arguments that eating meat is better than vegetable or meat is much healthier than vegetables. The author just tried to present the outlook of the articles. Initially, the author started the paper by highlighting the eating habits of the people in relation to the food industry. Further moving on, the author mentioned about the healthy meat eating habits and how eating meat habit improved. At last, the author throws some light on the meat consumption by the population.

Discussion

The evolution of food markets and consumer habits has been and is one of the key factors affecting the food industry. In a few years, and due to the internationalization of the company, the food industry has had to cope with social changes and the gastronomic specialties of different regions and cultures of the world. This has meant, first, a necessary adaptation of production systems and hence significant investments, but on the other hand has also provided access to mature markets with new products. 

The first thing we notice about changes in consumer habits, is not the case for the industry in giving more value to their products, even those foods or commodities less sophisticated. The search for further processing and added value not only for attachment of other components, products and substances, but also packaging, formats even lies to improvements in raw materials. An obvious example of the above are peeled and cut potatoes. Another aspect to be considered is the parameters that currently govern the world of food. There are three key concepts that should be highlighted: comfort, health and traceability/quality.

A market where values ??such as healthy eating, diet what, are gaining increasing importance. Finally, another very important factor for the industry is essential to the establishment of the food chain control. A word mark on the future of the industry is traceability. The industry must control the entire chain, from its origins (quality and provenance of raw materials and components) to the final consumer.

Policies and practices by the food industry helped increase production and create new mechanisms for the food industry. The decline in the quality and lack of variety of foods consumed, what adds their low nutritional value, have been associated with an increased number of cases of obesity and diseases chronic worldwide. Poor diet throughout life significantly increases vulnerability to chronic diseases, which are the main cause of death in the world. It is imperative to focus efforts on the consumer and on the importance of the quality of food as factors of production, instead of holding only considerations of price and quantity.
