Introduction

Macbeth is among famous and bloodiest plays of Shakespeare. In this play Macbeth is a nobleman and Scottish general, plans to kill king with his wife. They planned to kill the King Duncan of Scotland. Once on the way to the battle Macbeth was predicted to become the king of Scotland. However, Macbeth is hesitant in murdering the king to fulfill the prediction of those three witches but on the other hand his wife is very much ambitious and pushes him to kill King Duncan. This speech that is analyzed in further part of this paper is made by Macbeth. In his speech he decided to murder the King Duncan in his castle. He decided to murder the king while he was sleeping in the castle in night. In the initial stages of the Macbeth's speech he imagines that a dagger is floating in front of him in the air (Silverbush & Plotkin, 2002). He wonders if it is a real scenario than it is referred to something that differs among bad and good. The speech ended by Macbeth in a way of request to the King Duncan for not to hear the church's bell. He request it for Duncan because is he assumes that its death bell for soul of Duncan that calls for heaven or hell.
