Major Cause of Global Warming

Introduction

Global warming controversies and debates about whether global warming is happening because of human beings or not is still an unanswerable question, where scientist, sociologist and political organs are revolving. Some analysts claim that it is a natural process and cannot be inevitable by people. On the other hand, government is engaging in making policies and imposing taxes to safe energy and power. Global warming is the steady increase in global average temperature: specifically the temperature of the atmosphere and seas. The increase in global temperature cause changes in weather patterns, which is why some locations may experience drought while others are flooded, cold places become warmer and, in some cases, the hot areas are cooler. Climate is greatly changed because of global warming. This can be explained by the example of a light as when the pressure increases; change in temperature is noticed. Charles Darwin's evolution by natural selection has been used since long. Global warming has negatively impacted the climate of the Earth since it has resulted in the relocation of many species which has mainly happened because to human obstruction. Emissions from the greenhouse have played a very vital role in the change of climate (Sheppard, 2010). Global warming is caused by many factors which can be divided into two groups: human and natural causes. While the main source of global warming, like the little ice age is a natural phenomenon which happens gradually. However, the global warming has been speeded up largely due to human activity. If it were not for human activities the global warming would not be an issue as it is today.

Global Warming

Since the late nineteenth century, scientists have observed a gradual increase in the average surface temperature the planet. This increase was estimated from 0.5 ° F and 1.0 ° F. This warming has reduced snow-covered areas in the northern hemisphere, and has caused many of the icebergs floating in the Arctic Ocean have melted. Recently it has also been observed how, due to this increase in temperature, large portions of Antarctic ice has been separated from the rest of the polar mass, reducing the size of the frozen continent (Shrubsole, 2010). Global warming has caused an increase in temperature average surface of the Earth. Due to the melting of portions of polar ice, sea level underwent a rise of 4-8 inches during the past century, and it is estimated that there will continue to increase. The magnitude and frequency of rainfall has also increased due to increased evaporation of the bodies water surface caused by the increase in temperature.

Global Warming is Not Caused by Human Actions

The natural causes of global warming are referred to those processes of nature that are associated with increased global temperatures. These include the release of methane gas in the Arctic tundra and wetlands. This causes the so-called greenhouse effect, the process in which the absorption and emission of infrared radiation by said gas heats the ...
