But in the modern world the demand is different and young people are meant to be successful only when they have the knowledge and understanding about technology and science. But the fact that is accepted these days is that the science should be the basic core of the programs designed for liberal studies with a controversy that liberal studies include the role of technology. And many discussions have evolved if technology should be taken as the essential necessity of liberal education. But mainly is depends on the way the technology is being taught to students.

In the United States, it has been observed that many universities are not focusing on technology as the basics of technical knowledge.
