Ruth Handler, wife of Ruth Handler became president of the company and she was the one behind establishing a product line of Barbie Dolls for the company in 1959. Just after the successful release of Barbie doll, the company transformed the toy industry with its innovative toys and dolls that can dance and talks as well. The most successful products of the company were Chatty Cathy doll (released in 1960) and See 'N Say toys (released in 1965) that helped the company in making effective presence in the marketplace of toy industry in America.
