Introduction

The aim of this writing assignment is to answer the questions which are based on the personal and team performance in the simulation which is based on the research and development.

Discussion

My strength at the workplace

According to the peer evaluation report, willingness to listen to others has been identified as my strength which can be prove very useful at workplace in getting input from others. It can take the form of various different types of activities targeted toward helping members of team in managing conflict, become synergistic, and avoid groupthink. I show patience while listening to others which can provide me an advantage while managing my team members. I can take their input which can be utilized in achieving organizational goals and developing organizational strategy.

Improving my weaknesses

According to the peer evaluation report, my participation or contribution was very little in the whole group. I was not present all the time for providing the guidance to my group members. This weakness can be improved through discussing with the team members and their suggestions can improve this weakness. Although it is important for team members to help each other, but the personal tasks should not be sacrificed.

Team role

Among all the team members, Randall and Dennis played pivotal role in the team. Their contribution in the group project was very significant and applauding. The major responsibilities of the team members include the fulfillment of tasks assigned to them through coordination, cooperation and cohesion. In a scenario, team conflict was established due to unknown reason which was perspicaciously identified by them and was resolved immediately. Team conflicts can arise due to various reasons, such as lack of clarity of goals and objectives; poor communication; bad time management; lack of abilities and skills; personal conflicts or problems; lack of management and leadership but my teams members remained determined in solving that problem.

Strengths of the team

The members of the team were very participative and cooperated with each other while achieving the goals of the project. These strengths of the team were idenfied by evaluating their performance and getting feedback from every member of the team. Team working works best when team members have the freedom and autonomy, the opportunity to use different skills and competencies, the ability to complete a task in its entirety or an identifiable product also will have a substantial impact on others.
