I live at Richards street. The street itself is surrounded by residential houses on both sides. The houses here are very well designed as they look very pretty from the outside. The neighborhood is quite well-planned. It has its own park where children come to play late in the afternoon. The park itself is very beautiful. It has lush green grass and towering trees with a play area for children at the far corner. There is also a jogging track that stretches for almost a mile. Many people come to the park to jog and maintain their fitness level.

There is another park located just within walking distance but in another section of the neighborhood. This park has its own basketball court and also a cricket pitch. This park is much bigger and even has proper night lighting. Children often have night matches here, particularly cricket matches since they last longer than basketball matches. Older children come to play in this park while younger children and adults visit the other park for recreational activities.

A little further along Richards street is a small market where the residents of the neighborhood buy all their daily groceries and other essential things that they need. Louie's supermarket is one of the biggest shops in this market. It is a two-storey building made up of glass walls and is spread over an area of around 400 meters. It is basically a departmental store where you can get almost anything you need from daily groceries to fruits, fish, and even electronic appliances. The supermarket even has its own parking lot where people can park their cars before shopping inside. the parking area is enclosed and this ensures the safety of parked cars.
